Negoiating Knowledge in Co-management: A Case Study of Community Forestry in Wuyang Village, Waimaw Township, Kachin State, Myanmar
. 2013.
Abstact : -

Community Forestry is the main framework for the introduction of participatory forest management in Burma/Myanmar. It is this approach that I view as the entry point for local forest governance systems through their negotiating processes to be practiced on the ground. We should let engage different kinds of people to participate in the management of the forests to become a new form of forest governance to some extend. This study assesses and evaluates the negotiating processes, implementation processes and forest management practices of community forestry in the study area.
