Sovann Mam is a researcher and freelance consultant. He has worked for the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam), a leading Cambodian research institute in archiving and publishing Khmer Rouge-era crimes. During his time with DC-Cam’s Genocide Education Project, he has worked closely with genocide survivors as well as thousands of high school students and teachers throughout the country. The most interesting part of his work experience is that he has participated in research projects for the Center’s publication and contributed articles to local Khmer-English newspapers and the DC-Cam’s Searching for the Truth magazine.
