Nang Htoi Rawng’s thesis research focused on gender-based violence related to the armed conflict in Kachin areas. After she graduated from CMU, she started working with the Kachin Women Organization who are fighting to protect the rights of women in Myanmar. She is currently based in Myitkyina, Kachin state, Myanmar.
