Phaothai received a bachelor’s degree in Geography since 2011 and obtained a master’s degree in Social Science (Development Studies) from RCSD in 2014. He has been affiliated at the Department of Geography, Chiang Mai University since 2015 as a lecturer in human geography. He is also a PhD Student at the Fenner School of Environment & Society, The Australian National University. His interests are related, but not limited to, climate change adaptation, integrated water resources management, adaptation to flooding, disaster management, environmental governance, mobility and rural restructuring.
