Her research is focused on globalization, political economy, social movement and food security. Aj. Siya had a research project, “Food (in) security: From ASEAN producers to European consumers” in 2019through the Centre for European Studies, Chulalongkorn University, and has ongoing research projects relating to organic food movement and civil society networks in Chiang Mai.
